Refined bureau with flap and top, veneered with walnut burl bordered by inlaid bois de rose fillets, thickness 3 mm. Double-S bottom part of the piece with 2 flattened drawers and with 3 spacious drawers in a column divided by transverse cornices. The top part of the piece with two doors features a split tympanum with a little inserted mirror; a linear face combined to the concave sides. The unit has been skilfully polished with shellac with a film of wax. |
