Sophisticated bureau with two double bombé effect, filleted and burl-veneered shoulders, terminated by an end decorated with a vegetable motif containing a little secret drawer. The frame of it is handmade with solid deal, faced with walnut burl and filleted with bois de rose. The walnut head-worked cornices confer the piece with a polychromy in natural gradations. There are elegant drawers and open compartments inside the flap. Polished with shellac and beeswax. |
