Cabinet: small unit intended to contain precious objects and for use as a writing table. This type of imposing structure has three drawers surmounted by a folding top containing a compartment subdivided by a pair of three drawers in a column with two superimposed niches in the middle. The structure is made of solid deal lined by walnut veneer worked in a herringbone pattern interrupted by bois de rose and maple profiles. The walnut is enhanced by ebonized borders.
