Refined desk in French style with green leather top embellished by hot-impressed gold decorations. A rosewood fillet is inserted into the projecting cornice of the top. The four bow legs have a finely carved woman's face on the outermost hump. All the carving are enhanced by gold leaf. The fascia below the desktop is veneered with 3 mm chestnut burl enclosed by a rosewood fillet.
