Chest, a typical furnishing item in the Renaissance period, used as a seat. Trunk with a linear form enriched on the front by two inlaid panels depicting a flowering pot in the middle with songbirds in cherry wood, skilfully shaded. The cornice of the top is indented and protrudes from the chest body. The inlay is highlighted by the golden walnut colour of the polishing. |
