Chest in Venetian rococo style with a sinuous line with concave sides which taper where they connect to the front of the unit. Piece made of solid lime wood with several hand-carved friezes. It has been painted scarlet red and then aged before covering completely with gold leaf. By painting the gigantic rose on the front of the dresser the painter intended to highlight the opulent curves of the drawers.
