Chest in desk form veneered with walnut and cherry, worked with ornamental motifs. Recessed front with 3 drawers edged with ledge cornices. The top supports a particular raised back unit formed by two burl-veneered drawers one above the other on both sides and two inlaid doors in the middle. The slightly bombé sides recessed towards the face gives the piece the geometrical form of the trapezium. Inlaid pilasters applied on the corner edges. Complete structure made of solid wood.
